It was a very positive experience to have Sean and Katharine come to sit for us. They were well-organised and provided us with just the right amount of updates on looking after Onyx our cat. They were obviously very caring and they managed to charm our very nervous boy which certainly put our minds at rest. An issue with dodgy central heating was dealt with promptly and they were adaptable to requests for tradesmen to come to resolve the issue. We would certainly welcome them back to sit for us in the future.

We were lucky enough to have Katharine and Sean to sit for Wilf, our one year old whippet. Despite having used sitters for our previous dogs, we were obviously a little anxious about leaving Wilf as he was so young. However, we needn't have worried. Katharine and Sean took such great care of Wilf and he enjoyed lots of great walks and had lots of fun, particularly playing games with Sean. Katharine and Sean have a wealth of experience house sitting and have looked after many dogs which was apparent from the way they interacted with Wilf. In addition, they fully respected our home and left it absolutely spotless. Finally, they were kind enough to make us a delicious meal on return from our holiday which was so very kind. We would not hesitate in recommending Katharine and Sean!

Sean and Katharine looked after Zaza for 2 weeks. They came here the night before we left and we were confident that Zaza would be safe and happy in their company and that they would take good care of her. Whilst we were away, they kept us updated with lovely comments and photos of Zaza. We could relax and enjoy our holiday. On our return, it was clear that Zaza had been very well looked after and had a great time with them. She went on lovely walks. The house was impeccably clean and tidy on our return and the garden had been looked after. We can’t thank Sean and Katharine enough and we highly recommend them. Zaza was very sad to see them go but hopefully we’ll see them again here in the future for another sit.

Sean and Katharine were amazing sitters! We were really lucky to have them! They took extremely good care of our pussycats and home, they updated us regularly without delay which was amazing for someone anxious like me, so I could enjoy my holiday without stress. I could tell they were really fond of the pussycats and looked after well as if their own! They even helped with a very ill fish in our pond, doing all they could to help and to ease his suffering. We came back to very happy and relaxed pussycats and a very cleaned house. We are very grateful for all their help and kindness!

Sean and Katharine were absolutely amazing! They are extremely organized and tidy, but more importantly, they are some of the kindest and most pleasant people we have had the pleasure to meet. As true professionals, they took excellent care of our house while we were away, and kept us updated on Lexie and the work in our garden with loads of pictures. Lexie adored them, and they took her on more walks than we do, so it was like she had a little holiday of her own. Their attention to detail, such as picking Lexie up when crossing the road, showed how much they cared for her well-being. It was a comfort to know she was in such loving hands. Upon our arrival, everything was clean and tidy beyond our expectations, and Lexie was happy and settled. I can't recommend Sean and Katharine enough! They were the best house/pet sitters we have ever had, and we feel truly fortunate to have found them.

Once again, we were truly blessed with our choice of cat sitters! Sean and Katharine were a perfect fit for looking after our Ragdoll, Mia and a quite extensive garden. On our return the house was spotless and the garden well cared for. Most importantly, Mia clearly adored Sean and Katharine. So much so, that we are having to prove our worth to get back into Mia’s good books! We were lucky to be able to have an extra day with Sean and Katharine as their next sit was not yet available. Amazing sitters! Really organised and well planned so I felt super comfortable leading up to the stay, during and on departure. Sean and Katharine looked after my dog Bear and my home for 3 months whilst I was travelling. They asked sensible questions beforehand, arrived promptly the day before I left as requested and did a more than great job while I've been away. I've had regular updates (not too many as I’d have struggled with missing the dog!) and they have dealt with any issues promptly and without fuss. I've come home to an immaculately clean house, a calm dog and no worries whatsoever. I think Bear is missing Sean (my friend who called to collect the post said she was very attached to him) and I can see that she has been well walked, fed and generally cuddled/loved to the hilt. I hope Sean and Katharine are free to house sit for my next holiday!

Sean and Katharine were fantastic housesitters and were organised, reliable and tidy. They even washed their bedsheets and towels and hung them up to dry before leaving which was very unexpected but extremely welcome and generous of them to do so! The cats and chickens were all very well and content when I got home. Communications were fantastic, clear and straightforward, and we received some lovely photos of our animals. I would absolutely welcome them again to our home if they ever wanted to visit the area in future.

From our first communication they were friendly, relaxed and professional, taking a keen interest in us, our family and our dog, and responding flexibly to our schedules. This was our first experience having house/pet sitters, and we have been so lucky to have such experienced, organised and professional sitters as Katharine and Sean. We were put at ease from the start, and for a full 3 weeks away we didn't find ourselves worrying about home once. We had a handover the night before we left for an early flight, and they took everything on board. We received lots of updates and pictures showing us how our dogs were getting on. We returned to a house that was clean, tidy and sparkling; way beyond what we would reasonably expect. The dogs were obviously happy, healthy and content; both Katharine and Sean clearly love all types/breeds of animals and they had evidently bonded with our two! The whole experience has been very rewarding, and night and day compared to the idea of kennelling the dogs. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as sitters to anyone; you won't be disappointed, they are truly lovely people and I hope we're lucky enough to be able to have them here again one day.

Sean and Katharine were friendly, left the house as they found it, communicated before and during the sit, sent some lovely pictures and updates of our dogs out on their walks. We could tell Rosie and Tiber had had a good time — they were well chilled when we arrived home. A much better experience than putting them in dog kennels. Hopefully Sean and Katharine can dog-sit again for us.

Sean and Katharine came to sit at our house in for nearly 3 weeks in March / April. Every stage of the communications pre-sit was conducted very professionally by them, and we instantly saw that they are experienced and reliable house-sitters. They stayed with us the night before our departure as we had a very early flight, and we enjoyed a very pleasant dinner together. Throughout the sit, they kept in regular contact with us, and we were able to enjoy our holiday without any concerns about our pets or home. Sean and Katharine went way beyond what we had expected from a trusted house-sitter, as we returned to a house that had been tidied immaculately, linen laundered, dishes washed, the garden was neat and plants watered and so on. Even our dog had been washed, and all of the animals seemed utterly relaxed, like they hadn't really missed us. I can't recommend these two lovely people highly enough, and certainly hope that we can meet again, whether for a house-sit or just for a social get-together.

We had spoken several times before their arrival here, and they came in advance of our departure so that they could familiarise themselves with everything here, where to walk our two dogs, and the daily routine for looking after our hens. Whilst we were away, they kept in regular contact, and on departure emailed us with a very detailed list of what they’d done before leaving. The house was left immaculate, everywhere neat and tidy, and the dogs had obviously been very well looked after. We would be very happy to recommend them as housesitters.

They entirely met our expectations and you should count yourself very fortunate if you secure them for a house sit. Setting up the sit was easy, with effective communications and relevant questions. They were happy to come the night before we left to help them familiarise themselves with the house and Maisie. They handled everything which needed to be done in our absence for four weeks (letting plumber and gardener in to carry out work; receiving deliveries etc.), communicating as necessary, and we returned to a very tidy and clean house and a contented cat. Sean and Katharine kindly took us and our luggage to the railway station and collected us on our return. They cooked us an evening meal on our first night back. They are a kind, competent and very helpful couple: ideal for a lengthy house sit.

They were extremely professional and we returned to an immaculate house and three very happy pets... a dog and two cats. Our dog has to be kept separate from one of the cats, Which can be tricky. Our house sitters managed the situation with total confidence and were not phased at all! They got on really well with our neighbor who was very complimentary and enjoyed their company, and home made jam! They kept in touch regularly by email but never bothered us unless something was urgent. Thanks to them we all had a great summer.

Sean and Katharine were fabulous housesitters and I commend their services without hesitation. They looked after our 16th century home, two dogs, chickens and gecko for eight days. We have had many housesitters before but none as professional as Sean and Katharine. They were here in the 35-degree heatwave and took extra care of the house and pets, going that extra mile to make sure that the dogs in particular were comfortable. They are both very clearly animal lovers and took care of our pets as if they were their own and I would be beyond happy to book their services again. When we returned, the house was immaculate with all of their bedding and towels washed, dried and folded, with a welcome surprise of fresh bread, milk and bacon which was hugely appreciated.

Sean and Katharine looked after our 2 dogs and hamster for approximately six and a half months while we were stranded in Australia. It was clear that the dogs were in safe hands when Dexter, our anxious Porkie, warmed to them immediately. Sean and Katharine set up a detailed Google sheet float system to let us know when supplies were purchased for the animals and we topped up the float when needed. We will always be grateful to Sean and Katharine for keeping our animals happy and healthy until we could get back to them.

A tap failed and my oversight caused the house to run out of heating oil. Throughout, Sean and Katharine coped admirably and each problem was resolved practically and efficiently. Handover went smoothly, even though we could not be there at the start or end of their stay. They have proven that confidence in their approach to house sitting is well justified.

This was our first experience of housesitting, so naturally we were slightly sceptical, but we needn't have worried. The communication with Katharine and Sean from the outset was excellent and having spoken with them on Skype, we were completely reassured. The house sit went really well. They were unphased by our active terrier’s foibles and completely understood him. He was a very happy dog on our return, and the house was spotless! Katharine and Sean even had a light supper ready for us on our return from the airport. They are a genuinely gentle, lovely couple and we would have no hesitation in welcoming them back to our home.

Sean and Katharine have been the perfect sitters. They sat for us twice with a short break between. One of our cats is very fearful of strangers and it helped with the first sit to build up some rapport. During the second sit she had shortly before had a planned operation, which we discussed with them in advance, so needed extra special care and to be kept indoors, as well as medication giving. This was no trouble for them and they even took her to the vet to have her stitches out. They sent us regular communications and photos during our time away, which was very re-assuring. They are clearly pet lovers so we know our cats got lots of love and attention. On our return they made us bread and yoghurt which was really appreciated and our house was left spotlessly clean. They are a lovely couple and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We would love to have them sit for us again. Thanks so much again.

Sean and Katharine were fantastic house sitters, they were really quick to respond to our initial enquiry and we immediately felt at ease with the booking as they were clearly very knowledgable and experienced. They kept us informed of when they expected to arrive and were exactly on time, we enjoyed a very nice evening with them before we left for holiday the next day which gave us time to calmly go through how everything in the house worked and introduce them to our dog. While we were away they periodically kept us up to date with how things were and when a number of things went wrong with the house (aga problem, gates stopped working, ant infestation to name a few!) they were quick to let us know and very proactive in helping to resolve the problems. When we came back the house was immaculate and our dog seemed happy and super relaxed. We had preagreed that they could stay on for 2 nights after we got back and they stayed in our annexe. It was good to have a chance to catch up with them properly before they left for their next house sit and our dog had a chance to get used to us being around again before they left. Again they left the annex immaculately. They were so kind and loving to our dog and I could not have wished for her to been with nicer people and we were able to really enjoy our holiday happy in the knowledge that she was in such caring hands. We hope Sean and Katharine will be able to house sit again for us in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a housesitter.

Wow, professional would be an understatement! Sean and Katharine are total pros at the housesitting game. From the outset they took great care to understand the pets, the house, the routine, everything that's important to us. They arrived the day Pepper, the dog, had just returned from the vet after being quite ill, and they nursed her back to health in no time at all, with plenty of care, attention, love and playtime, not to mention fabulous walks. And to top it all Sean and Katharine left my house looking immaculate, heaven to come home to. Huge thank yous to them both from all of our family. And for anyone reading this review, if you're ever lucky enough to have Katharine and Sean to housesit for you, you'll struggle to find anyone better after these five-star housesitters.

Having Sean and Katharine to look after our 5 girls (2 Labradors, 1 cat and 2 chickens) and our home was the very best decision we could have made. At no point whatsoever did we have any doubts that everything and everyone was in the very best of hands! We came back home, after 2 weeks, to an immaculate house and very happy animals who were relaxed and obviously very well cared for and loved. Sean and Katharine had kept in touch throughout our holiday and we had a wonderful time knowing they were fully in control and enjoying our pet family. Our young lab bitch unfortunately came into season in the week leading up to our departure but Sean and Katharine looked after her (and the house) wonderfully and we truly thank them for taking her on in that situation. Our cat wormed her way into their affections (and bed, I believe!) and the chickens were always following them around (and trying to get into the house to be closer to them). Our (almost blind) older lab girl had some lovely walks with them and was in great shape when we got back. All in all, it was a fantastic experience for us and for our pets. You are a very friendly and warm couple, who take the responsibility of moving into another persons home, albeit, whether you are just house sitting or caring for the owners beloved pets as well. Our Cat Tabitha, can be a very nervous Cat, and usually runs away and hides when strangers come to the house. Tabitha made friends with you instantly, even cuddling up in bed at night as she does with us every day. Sean and Katharine were simply amazing. They obviously love all animals and immediately our two retrievers bonded with them. Lovely interesting couple and we were put at ease straight away, as sensed their experience, common sense, maturity and trustworthiness as housesitters. They stayed two weeks and we felt completely relaxed whilst we were away, knowing the house and our dogs were being very well looked after. Our home was genuinely immaculate when we arrived home — as others have said — cleaner than when we left! We think they were simply the best. They would be our top choice to return.

Sean and Katharine were perfect house sitters. This being our first experience, I have to admit we were a little apprehensive at the thought of strangers staying in our house and looking after our two dogs. However, as soon as we met Sean and Katharine, we felt totally at ease and knew we had made the right choice. They are a warm and friendly couple who immediately fussed over the dogs. They were with us for 24 hours before we left for our holiday getting to know the dogs and the house and in that time we could see that both would be incredibly well looked after. We also have a small self-catering holiday cottage attached to our house — Sean and Katharine looked after this for us too — all guests commented on the great hosts and how well the cottage had been presented on arrival. They provided a point of contact and dealt with any problems that arose in our absence — this was a fantastic help and it was great to keep everything ticking over in our absence. They emailed us with updates throughout our holiday so we knew all was well at home. On our return, the house was immaculate and the dogs were totally in love! We had a very long journey home and were all extremely tired — Sean and Katharine very kindly took care of the dogs on the day of our return — giving them two walks so there was one less thing for us to worry about as we got settled back in. We were all very sad to see them leave (the dogs especially!) and very much hope we can get calendars to work again in the future and that Sean and Katharine would consider coming back to us.

Sean and Katharine house sat our 2 dogs for 3 weeks in August/September while we were away on holiday. Being our first experience with housesitters, we were quite nervous about what to expect but couldn't be happier with the experience. Sean and Katharine were great at communicating before the visit, setting up a Skype call to answer all of our questions and concerns. They arrived exactly when they said, and kept us updated throughout the 3 weeks, letting us know of any concerns or issues that arose. We came back to a beautifully clean home, very happy and content dogs and we couldn't have been more delighted. The main reason we were so pleased with Sean and Katharine is the excellent care they took of our 2 dogs. As a pet owner, it's always scary leaving your pets but Sean and Katharine made sure that the dogs were not only cared for (following the feeding and exercise instructions we left) but were also loved. It's been a week since Sean and Katharine left and the dogs are still moping around missing them! All in all I couldn't recommend Sean and Katharine any higher.

Excellent communicators, they kept us well-informed about things like arrival time, and they provided us with entertaining email updates about how they and Merlin, the cat, were getting on while we were away. Liaising closely with us by email, they also arranged a visit from the heating engineer to sort out a plumbing problem that arose in our absence. More generally, they are wise and interesting people, whose company my family and I very much enjoyed when we had the opportunity to have a couple of meals together.
